NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course - Phase 2
Basic Pistol teaches the basic knowledge skills & attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely in a defensive manor. This class emphasizes on range instruction for both semi automatic pistols and revolvers.
Students MUST complete PHASE I of this course (online) prior to registering. Register below to register and complete NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Phase 1: REGISTER HERE
You will learn proper shooting technique for 2 handed standing and from a bench rest position. Upon successful completion of this course AND a written exam, you will receive a certificate which is required to apply for a CCW permit in Colorado.
This is a (5) hour class and will include both classroom and on range training. Your own firearm is encouraged, but not required. Please make sure that you have a minimum caliber of .380 ACP.

- NRA guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting Handbook
- NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure
- Winchester / NRA Marksmanship Qualifications Booklet
- Basic Pistol Course completion certificate
- Practical Shooter rocker patch
